Per Governor Bullock's address on Wednesday afternoon, we have entered into Phase One of re-opening the state which includes us opening our doors to our beloved customers once again. Beginning this Saturday, April 25th both locations will be open for limited retail shopping; our grooming services will resume the following Monday, April 27th in a reduced capacity. We have implemented several changes to our in-store experience in an effort to promote social distancing.

Retail Changes

For the time being, our store hours will remain the same as they have been the past few weeks. The Oak Street store is open every day from 9:00 - 5:00 while Downtown is open Monday through Saturday 10:00 - 5:00 and Sundays from 12:00 - 3:00. We ask that if you are sick, have experienced symptoms, or have been exposed to someone who is sick in the past seven days that you refrain from shopping with us in-store. As an alternative, we will continue to offer free home delivery when you shop with us online or over the phone. When in the store, please stay six feet away from other customers as well as staff to reduce unnecessary person to person contact. We have placed markers on the floor near the register to accomodate a six foot distance between customers at checkout. While we have missed seeing our regulars, we do ask that you limit the amount of people - and pets - that accompany you into the store. To encourage and abide by social distancing recommendations, customers will be limited to groups of two at a maximum. Overall, we will be limiting the number of patrons in the store to a maximum of five at a time and reserve the right to close our doors to keep this number limited. As a precautionary step, we also ask that your dog stays at home or in the car unless they have a scheduled grooming or day camp appointment. We have installed plexiglass barriers similar to other retailers in order to protect the the health of our customers and staff. In addition, our staff will continue to wear protective masks and gloves to limit any potential exposure or spread of illness. Hand sanitizer will be readily available at the front doors and at both retail and grooming counters for easy access. As a final measure, we have continued with the rigorous cleaning policy that we implemented weeks ago in order to maintain a healthy shopping environment for everyone.

Grooming & DIY Wash Changes

As a result of the closure to our grooming department, many of our clients have missed appointments or have been forced to reschedule. We realize the inconvenience this has caused and are working diligently and as efficiently as possible to follow up with everyone and get them on the books. To allow our groomers to focus on rescheduling as well as grooming, we are limiting walk-in services to between 9:00 - 2:00 Monday through Saturday. To provide our groomers with adequate space, the DIY Wash at 19th & Oak will be closed. The Downtown DIY Wash will remain open, but only one customer will be permitted to bathe their dog at a time. We do encourage you to call ahead and reserve your bath time.

Day Camp Changes

Our Day Camp resumed operation last week with a modified drop off process. To limit the amount of people and dogs in the store at once, we have moved Day Camp check ins to the back door. We have installed a doorbell outside of Day Camp that you can ring upon arrival and an attendant will meet you to get your dog checked in for the day. Currently Day Camp is open three days a week - Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. If you're interested in drop offs other days of the week, please reach out to us at bozeman@dee-o-gee.com and we'll do our best to accommodate you and your d-o-g at this time.

We want to thank everyone for their unwavering patience and support as we work to navigate these unfamiliar times together. Our community is resilient and with a concerted effort to follow guidelines laid out by state and local health officials as well as the CDC, we will continue to do our part to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
