Day Camp

While at Day Camp by Dee-O-Gee, your four-legged friends will bask & frolic in our custom built indoor dog park. Dogs are entertained and cared for by our wonderful, pet-loving staff. Senior or small dogs have their own fenced-off “area” (if needed) where they feel safe and secure. Dee-O-Gee’s dog daycare Day Camp is conveniently located at our 19th & Oak location in the heart of Bozeman, Montana … no need to drive way out in the country to drop your dog off, we’ve got you (and, your pup/s) covered, conveniently in town!

Call ahead (406-551-2364) to schedule your pup’s free temperament evaluation. Think of it as a simple “meet and greet” that we do prior to each dog’s first day with us. Day Camp fills fast, we recommend making a standing reservation.

What are the Day Camp Hours?

Monday – Friday: 7:30AM – 6:45PM
Saturday: 8AM – 6:45PM

Sunday: 8AM - 5PM (advance RESERVATIONS REQUIRED for special Sunday "ski season" hours)

Can I take a tour?

Yes! We love visitors. You can visit us any time from 10 am to 6 pm (Monday – Saturday) and take a look through our big windows. No appointment is necessary. During peak hours and holidays, please drop us a line to check our availability.

How do I make an appointment?

Give us a call (406-551-2364) to schedule, or drop in to schedule in person (and, pick up a tasty treat for your d-o-g) at 19th & Oak in Bozeman.

Do I need to make Day Camp reservations?

While we do accept Day Camp drop-ins when space allows, we strongly encourage you to call ahead for reservations well in advance. If your dog will be joining us regularly, we recommend making a standing reservation on your typical play dates. This way, your pooch will always have a spot at Dee-O-Gee BZN.

What information will I need to make a reservation?

We just need a little paperwork — don’t worry, it doesn’t take long. You can fill it out online (see above). We ask that you provide current vaccination records and completed forms prior to your dog’s first stay.

What if I need to cancel a reservation?

For non-holidays, please notify us of your cancellation 24-hours in advance. If this is abused, we will require pre-payment to reserve your spot.

For holiday reservations, we require 7-day advance notice. If we do not receive your cancellation within the timeframe listed above you will be charged 50% of your scheduled Day Camp stay for each day missed without notice. No shows will be charged for the reservation in its entirety.

My dog forgot breakfast (well, actually it was me). Can I bring their own food?

Of course! In fact, we encourage it, as many dogs are sensitive to sudden dietary changes. By request, we can prepare specialized meals, including cooking or thawing if required. In special cases, a $5 daily fee may apply. Or, if you forget your dog’s food you can purchase any of our high-quality nutrition options and we’ll take care of feeding your dog (and, you can take the rest of the bag home with you at the end of your dog’s stay).

What are the vaccination requirements?

We require a veterinarian certificate indicating proof of vaccination for Rabies and Bordetella. We recommend the Bordetella vaccination be administered every 6 months, within the year is required. If the Bordetella vaccine has never been given, or if it has expired, a 45 day waiting period is required after the administration.

For all other vaccinations, a 24 hour waiting period is required after the first administration of a vaccination or if it has expired. Have your vet email us at

An effective form of flea control is recommended for all in-state dogs.  Out-of-state guests must have a current flea & tick treatment in place.  Natural remedies are ok with us!

To attend Day Camp, all guests must be spayed or neutered, unless under 12 months of age.   Once they are over 12 months of age they must be spayed or neutered in order to socialize with the other guests safely. No females in heat are allowed.  All guests must be 4 months or older.

Guests who attend Day Camp will require a brief temperament evaluation — think of it as a simple “meet and greet.” This ensures the safety of all our guests – just give us a call to let us know you’re coming in. We want to insure that we have adequate time to get to know your pooch.

Why the long wait for Bordetella?

Our 4-day policy ensures that guests with little or no immunity have not been exposed accidentally and infected with an illness while visiting their veterinarian to get vaccinated. While it may seems a little strict, we prefer to err on the side of caution when it comes to the safety of our guests.

Will you accept my female pup, if she is in heat? How about non-neutered males?

Sorry, for the safety of our other guests, we do not allow dogs in heat or un-altered males (over 12 months old) at Day Camp. We know it’s strict, but it’s a common policy and one that fits the majority of our guests the best.

What if my dog doesn't play well with others or needs special attention?

If your dog is less than social, requires one-on-one attention, or senior, they are welcome to stay in our secluded Day Camp “relax” areas. These areas are very limited and may require an additional daily fee.

What is the Dee-O-Gee "3 Strikes" policy?

For the safety and benefit of all guests at Day Camp, each guest must “play nice” to continue to be a guest at Day Camp.

  1. After the 1st instance of unruly behaviour, fighting with other dogs, or other extreme actions that are detrimental to others, including excessive barking, mounting or marking,  the owner will be warned at the time of pick up.
  2. At the 2nd unruly indcidence, the owner will be called immediatley and notified.
  3. At the 3rd unruly incidence, the owner will be called and notified immediately, will need to come pick up the dog immediately (and, forfeit that day’s fees) and the dog will not be allowed back at Day Camp.

In the case of aggressive behavior that results in our handlers being bit or excessive aggression toward other dogs, we reserve the right to bypass the 3 Strike Policy and not allow a dog to return to Day Camp. We love ALL dogs, but not every dog is the best fit for Day Camp at Dee-O-Gee.  We thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.

Second Chance :)........If your dog is given 3 strikes and asked to leave, you have the option to seek behavioral training.  We may consider a new trial for your dog in Day Camp if owner provides proof of the behavior correction.
